Mangalore University Exams 2021 begins for UG, PG courses, check details here

Mangalore University Exams 2021: The Mangalore University today began the pending exams for Undergraduate, UG and Postgraduate, PG courses. Mangalore University Exams 2021 were earlier cancelled owing to the spike in COVID-19 cases. Candidates are advised to check the details on the official website of the university; i.e. mangaloreuniversity.ac.in, to get the complete timetable.  

These Mangalore University Exams 2021 are for the odd semester UG, PG courses. The decision has been taken mutually by Dakshina Kannada District Administration and Mangalore University. Earlier, these exams were cancelled due to rising COVID-19 cases. It was also alleged that these cases were rising as many students from Kerala were coming to appear for the exams.  

The final decision to resume odd semester UG, PG exams were taken after the University registrar, P L Dharma and registrar Kishore Kumar C K met the Deputy Commissioner in the presence of the Joint Director Meanwhile, minutes of the meeting issued by the Deputy Commissioner said that those students from Kerala who appear for the examinations should compulsorily produce RT-PCR negative certificate for COVID-19. 

Stakeholders must also note that this time Joint Director of Collegiate Education will be supervising the exams. Autonomous Colleges and Deemed to be Universities will also have to obtain permission from the authority to conduct these exams. Moreover, hall tickets for Mangalore University Exams 2021 will be sent via WhatsApp or email.   

This time it has even be mandated that the students who have not paid the examination fee for Mangalore University Exams 2021, should also be allowed to sit for examinations. Hall tickets must be issued regardless of fee payment and all COVID-19 safety protocols must be followed. Nobody should be found breaching the orders or safety protocols.
