Mangalore University Result 2020 Declare! Mangalore University officially announced the Mangalore University Result 2020 for intermediate semester students i.e. for second and fourth-semester students. MU Results 2020 for the intermediate semester are announced and all students are now promoted on the basis of guidelines given by the University Grants Commission (UGC), Karnataka Education Department. Considering the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic situation, the university decided not to hold exams for intermediate semester students. All students from intermediate semester / even semester to next / higher semester are now promoted on the basis of the promotion matrix provided by the Commission.

In order to promote the students to the next academic grade, the University designed a unique formula. Under this formula, 50% weightage is given to marks secured by students in the previous semester and the rest 50% weightage is given to internal assessment marks which were scaled up. Mangalore University also withheld the results of the students whose internal assessment marks are not submitted.

Failed students will also be given a second chance to complete their semester in the examination to be held next.
