NCIDE invites applications for Student Innovation Award 2022 from IGNOU students

National Centre for Innovation in Distance Education (NCIDE) has invited applications for Student Innovation Award 2022 from IGNOU students latest by September 30, 2022.

The National Centre for Innovation in Distance Education (NCIDE) at IGNOU launched the Student Innovation Awards programme for the first time and invited applications for Student Innovation Award 2022 from IGNOU students latest by September 30, 2022.

The best three innovators will be given certificates, trophies and cash prizes of INR 10,000, INR 7,000 and INR 5,000 respectively.

The copies of the application form and guidelines for required details including the theme areas can be downloaded from the NVRIETI portal at https://sites.google.com/ignou.ac.in/navrieti/sia-2022 or from the IGNOU website www.ignou.ac.in.

The application along with supporting documents and a video clip of the innovation should be submitted by email at ncide@ignou.ac.in to the Director, NCIDE. 

Student Innovation Award 2022 Details

The award is for the bonafide student of IGNOU with valid registration and who has done any kind of innovation in any field of life, preferably in the given theme areas which include Health Care and Biomedical Devices, Agriculture and Rural Development, Food Processing and Packaging, Smart Transport and Traffic Management, Renewable and Affordable Energy and Alternate Fuel, Clean and Potable Water and Water Management, Waste Management and Disposal, Technology-Based Social Innovations, Robotics and Drones including AI and ML, Social and Environmental Issues, Smart City and Urban Development, Innovation in Education Sector, Innovations to Assist the Persons with Disability, and any Other Emerging Area of Innovation and Startup Opportunity.
