
Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences, Rohtak appointed Professor Anita Saxena, a cardiologist at the All-India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi as the Vice-Chancellor of the university for the next three years. She will succeed Prof OP Kalra.
She has more than 33 years of experience and has served as a full professor since 1998, at AIIMS, New Delhi. There are over 310 pages to her credit when it comes to publishing in reputed national and international journals. Dr Saxena is a member of national and international societies, including the fellowship of American College of Cardiology and has been President of Asia Pacific Pediatric Cardiac Society, National Rheumatic Heart Consortium, and Pediatric Cardiac Society of India.
