Panjab University to hold semester exams from February 15; check details here

The examinations for the ongoing classes (undergraduate and postgraduate), odd semester, will be held from February 15 whereas the examinations for new admissions will start from March 8.

Panjab University (PU) has decided to hold semester examinations in the blended i.e. online or offline from February 15.  Panjab University (PU) had earlier released guidelines for the students who will be appearing for the online reappear exams that are scheduled to be conducted on January 15, 2021. The varsity is conducting reappear examinations for professional courses for all those students who were not able to clear the exam even after securing the average marks. 

Also, the practical examinations for the ongoing classes are likely to be held between February 2 and 5 while for new admissions, these will be held in February-end.

“The dates have been finalised and the examinations will be conducted majorly on the pattern similar to that of last semester examinations. The process of conducting evaluation will be finalised in a day or so. Also, all other technical aspects of appearing for the examinations will be uploaded on the university’s website within a few days,” said Dr Jagat Bhushan, CoE, PU.

Students are advised to keep checking the official website of the varsity to get more updates. Panjab University has been kept closed for more than nine months in view of coronavirus outbreak due to which even the examinations have been delayed. The varsity is planning to conduct the examinations now from February 15 under strict COVID-19 guidelines.
