Panjab University, popularly known as PUCHD, was founded in 1882 as the University of the Panjab Lahore (in Pakistan now). - Biochemistry, if he/ she has passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology
- A student may opt for CS in BSc (Non-Medical) as one of the elective subjects with the combination of Mathematics, Physics, CS.
The answer is both yes and no. admission to all MBA courses is entrance-based at all the MBA offering institutes of PU. While for an Integrated MBA, students need a valid score in JEE Main exam, admission to UBS and UIAMS is subject to a valid score in CATor PU METexams, respectively. Students who wish to get into the specialisations or courses offered by UIAMS are required to appear for PU MET exam and those who wish to get into UBS are required to have a valid score in CAT exam.

Panjab University Admission Process and Important Dates 2026
Panjab University Chandigarh admission 2026 is entrance-based for a majority of its courses. PUCHD entrance exams are PU CET, PU UGLAW, PU LLB Entrance Exam, and PU MET. Students are required to go through the university-conducted/ national-level entrances and then appear for the university-level selection rounds for final admission. The Panjab University Chandigarh admission process is conducted via online registrations.
Candidates must fill out the PUCHD application form before the last date. After a successful application submission, candidates must appear for the entrance exam of the respective course, they opted for. Panjab University offers two-year MBA programmes across four specialisations via the University Business School and across seven specialisations via the University Institute of Applied Management Sciences. Other than these, Dr. S. Bhatnagar University Institute of Chemical Engineering and Technology offers an Integrated BE (Chemical) - MBA to the students. Admission to all MBA courses is entrance-based at all these institutes. While for Integrated MBA, students need a valid score in JEE Main exam, admission to UBS and UIAMS is subject to a valid score in CAT and PU MET exams, respectively.
