Steering Committee constructed for DU Culture Council

Steering Committee has been constituted for smooth conduct of the functioning of the Culture Council. Anoop Lather, PRO of the University has been appointed as the Chairperson of the committee.

Steering Committee constructed for DU Culture Council

A steering committee has been constituted by the University of Delhi for the function of its Culture Council. Issuing a notification in this regard, the University has informed that this Steering Committee has been constituted for smooth conduct of the functioning of the Culture Council. Anoop Lather, PRO of the University has been appointed as the Chairperson of the committee.

Along with him is Prof. Paramjit from the Dept. of Economics, who has been appointed as the Vice Chairperson, while the Dean of Culture Council is Prof. Ravindra Kumar. The treasurer of the university, Naval Kishore, has also been entrusted with the responsibility of the Treasurer of the Culture Council.

Apart from these office bearers, Professor Alka Nagpal from the Faculty of Music and Fine Arts, Prof. Irteza Krim from Dept of Urdu, SSCBS Principal Prof. Poonam Verma, Principal of Miranda House Prof. Bijaylakshmi Nanda, Principal of Hansraj College Prof. Rama, Principal of Hindu College Prof. Anju Srivastava, Joint Dean Culture Council Dr Deepti Taneja, Deputy Dean Culture Council Dr Hemant Verma, Dr Prerna Malhotra from Ram Lal Anand College and Dr Charu Kalra from Deen Dayal Upadhyay College have been appointed as the steering committee members of the Culture Council. 

Meanwhile, Delhi University has formed a nine-member committee to resolve issues related to seat allocation and admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. In an official notification, the University Registrar, Vikas Gupta said "the committee, headed by Professor Ranjeet Behra of the Department of Sanskrit, has been formed for the smooth conduct of the admission process at the Delhi University (DU)."
