TNAU Admissions 2021: Application deadline extended, Apply on or before October 18

Candidates looking forward to applying for TNAU admissions 2021 in UG courses like horticulture, agriculture, forestry, etc. can fill the TNAU registration form 2021 on or before October 18.

TNAU Admissions 2021: Tamil Nadu Agricultural University (TNAU) has announced that it has extended the last date to submit the online application for admission to undergraduate courses until October 18. On September 8, the TNAU application form 2021 was released by the university on its official website; i.e. tnau.ac.in.

Candidates looking forward to applying for TNAU admissions 2021 in UG courses like horticulture, agriculture, forestry, etc. can fill the TNAU registration form 2021 on or before October 18. The Tamil Nadu university is offering 12 undergraduate degree courses through its 18 constituent and 28 affiliated colleges. TNAU has received over 40,000 applications so far. 

Earlier, the last date to submit the online applications for admission was October 7. It has now been extended until October 18. The University will be releasing the first merit list on November 2. 
While speaking on the same, Dean (agriculture) and chairman (admissions) M Kalyanasundaram told TOI that the last date has been extended as they had received many requests seeking extension of the last date to submit online applications for admission.

“There was an increase in the interest of parents to get their wards admitted to TNAU following the 7.5 per cent reservation in professional courses for students from government schools from this year,” he said.
Many parents who came to know about the reservation were keen on admitting their wards to agriculture colleges after learning about the reservation only recently. Many parents also showed an interest in their children joining the Tamil medium courses to be introduced this year, he further added.
