A total of 1,381 UG students were a part of the placement season, out of which 335 were placed, with a median package of INR 4.5 LPA. On comparing last year to this year's plaement statistics, the median package has increased from INR 3.7 LPA to INR 4.5 LPA.
Out of 381 PG 2-year students, 194 got placed with the median package being INR 6.20 LPA. On comparison with last year, the institute experienced an increase from INR 5.50 to 6.20 LPA in the median package.

The application process for TNAU UG admission differs slightly depending on whether the student is a Tamil native or from other states. Those from Tamil Nadu can visit the official website of the university once the board results are out and apply for the programme of choice. Candidates, who have applied for various courses at the TNAU, can check their admission results in the form of merit lists online on this page or on the official website of the university. Follow the steps below to check the merit list through the official website:
- Visit the official website page of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University admission (tnau.ac.in)

The eligibility criteria for admission to all the undergraduate and postgraduate programme is different at TNAU. No, the PhD admission at TNAU is closed for the year 2023. The online submission of the application form was from 22 May 2023 to 16 June 2023 up to 11.30 PM. Apart from this, any corrections to be made for the application fee at the official website were from 18 June 2023 to 20 June 2023. Since the PhD admission is closed the dates mentioned here might help students to prepare for the next academic year.
In order to take admission in PhD course at TNAU the student requisite to clear ICAR AICE-JRF/SRF examination. However, the aspirants age should be at least than 20 years. No relaxation is allowable regarding the minimum age limit.
