VMSIIHE inks MoU with The Prestigious Cesar Ritz colleges Switzerland

February 16, 2022: VM Salgaocar Institute of International Hospitality Education (VMSIIHE), one of India's leading hospitality management institutes, has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the famed César Ritz Colleges Switzerland and its sub-brand Culinary Arts Academy Switzerland.

Dattaraj V Salgaocar, Chairman of VM Salgaocar Corporation Pvt. Ltd., and Prof. Irfan Mirza, Director of VMSIIHE signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Yong Shen, CEO of Swiss Education Group, and Dr David Knuff, VP of Academic Excellence and Innovation at Swiss Education Group, which mutually agrees to work closely to meet the two leading institutes' shared objectives.

Students who complete the Bachelor's programme at VMSIIHE can pursue a Masters of Arts in Hospitality and Tourism Entrepreneurship, a Masters of Arts in Culinary Business Management, or a Swiss Grand Diploma in Pasty and Chocolate Arts within the terms of the agreement.

In the future, the relationship will result in knowledge transfer and faculty exchange in training and teaching-learning approaches, as well as other educational endeavours. It also features masterclasses presented online or on-site, whether in India or Switzerland, by faculty specialists.

VMSIIHE offers a three-year full-time programme that helps young hotel management students gain intensive practical training and honing of necessary skills, with a special focus on developing personality, professional attitude, and leadership qualities, all of which are hallmarks of outstanding industry professionals.

The Institute has the distinct advantage of working with Turismo de Portugal, the official tourist agency of the Portuguese government. A Memorandum of Understanding between the two governments paved the way for the collaboration.

VMSIIHE provides students with the opportunity to complete professional internships at prestigious starred hotels in India and overseas at some of the world's most exclusive hotels.
