With coronavirus positive cases increasing in the state and across the country, the Uttar Pradesh government has announced that it has decided to suspend all offline classes in the schools until April 30. In view of the COVID-19 situation, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today issued fresh instructions according to which offline teaching for Classes 1 to 12 students in all private and government schools of the state will remain suspended till April 30.

The government has also directed coaching centres to remain closed until April-end.  However, exams can be held as per schedule and teachers and other staff members can go to schools, the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) said.

The Uttar Pradesh government had earlier announced shutdown of schools for up to Class 8 till April 11. As per the new order, schools for all the classes and coaching centres will remain closed till April-end.

Recently, Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has revised the UP Board Time Table 2021 for classes 10 and 12. The revised UP Board 10th Time Table 2021 as well as the UP Board 12th Time Table 2021 has been released on the official website of the state board at upmsp.edu.in. According to the revised UP Board Time Table 2021, the examinations will begin on May 8 instead of April 24. For Class 10, the exams would conclude on May 25 while for Class 12 they will continue until May 28. As per the revised UP board exam date 2021, the examination will be held in two shifts - the morning shift from 8 am to 11:15 am and the evening shift from 2 pm to 5:15 pm.
