Delhi government has released the results of the Schools of Specialized Excellence (SoSE) on September 11, 2021. The results are available for students on the official website of SoSE. Students must note that the admission process all across SoSEs is set to begin from today, i.e. September 13, 2021. Students were invited to apply for the SoSEs through an online form on August 12. On August 19, 2021, the department closed the application process. Around 26,687 registrations were made for the four types of SoSEs (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), Humanities, Performing and Visual Arts and High-end 21st Century Skills).

From August 27-31, SoSEs organised the aptitude tests across 67 test centres. Around 14,245 students took their tests on the given dates. The process selected a total of 2,794 students and offered admissions in the STEM, Humanities and High-end 21st Century Skills schools. Auditions for the Performing and Visual Arts schools will end on September 13.

Final results for Performing and Visual Arts schools will be announced early next week. Meanwhile, the admission process for the selected 2,794 students will begin from September 13 in the respective SoSEs where students had applied. In the STEM schools, admissions are being offered in Classes 9 and 11, while in the rest of the schools, students will be admitted in Class 9 only.

Reports suggest that a total of 960 students got admission in Class 9 in 8 STEM schools. Whereas, for Class 11, 814 students. There are 5 schools each in Humanities and High-end 21st Century Skills in which 420 and 600 students have been selected respectively. Close to two-thirds of the selected students are from government and government-aided schools while the rest are from recognized private schools.
