The NIFT 2022 entrance exam will be conducted in online, remote-proctored mode on February 6. On exam-day, candidates need to bring a valid id proof with the admit card.

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will start issuing admit cards for the NIFT 2022 exam from January 29 onward. The admit card will be issued to candidates who have successfully filled the NIFT application form 2022 and paid the exam fee. To download the admit card, the candidate will have to enter login credentials like their application number, email id, and DOB.

This year, the NIFT 2022 exam will be conducted in online, remote-proctored mode given the rising number of COVID cases. The exam conducting authority has already released the guidelines for the remote-proctored exam.  

How to download the NIFT 2022 admit card

  • Click on the admit card download link (will be activated once admit card is live)
  • A log-in window will open
  • The candidate will have to enter their six-digit application number, email id and date of birth to log-in
  • On log-in, the admit card will be displayed in downloadable pdf format.
  • Download and take a printout of the admit card.

What details would be mentioned on the NIFT admit card 2022?

The admit card would contain the name and roll number of the candidate, date and time of the entrance exam, and exam-guidelines. Note that given the exam will be conducted in online proctored mode, no exam center would be allocated.

NIFT 2022 - Exam-day tips

  • The exam will now be conducted in online, proctored mode
  • So, make sure that you have a working laptop/ desktop and android mobile phone. 
  • Internet and electricity backup also need to be reliable. 
  • The candidate needs to follow all the guidelines prescribed by the exam conducting authority.
  • Log-in: The candidate needs to login at least 60 minutes before the start of the entrance exam.
  • Mock tests - The candidate will also have to take mandatory mock tests to familiarize themselves with the online exam.
