NIFT 2026 Counselling Registration Begins; Candidates Must Register by June 22

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) has started the registration process for Seat Allocation (e-Counselling) for NIFT Admissions 2026. The online counselling process is open for Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate (PG), and Lateral Entry programmes.

NIFT Counselling 2026

NIFT e-counselling has begun today, June 15, 2026.  According to the schedule, candidates can register on the NIFT e-Counselling portal from June 15, 2026, to June 22, 2026 (12:00 midnight). Only those candidates who have successfully cleared the admission process and secured a valid Common Merit Rank (CMR) in the NIFT 2026 final result are eligible to participate in the counselling process. After registration, candidates must fill their preferred course and campus choices by June 25, 2026 (12:00 midnight). 

NIFT has also stated that registration by June 22 is mandatory for participation in the seat allocation process. Candidates applying under the Artisan/Ward of Artisan category should note that their admission process is being conducted separately by NIFT. Such candidates should not participate in the regular e-counselling process through the portal.
Students are encouraged to complete their registration well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.

How to Register for NIFT 2026 Counselling?

To participate in the NIFT 2026 counselling process, candidates must register at the NIFT website. Candidates who are shortlisted for the counselling process need to get:

• Register for NIFT counselling at the official website of the institute
• Pay the registration fee
• Fill in the choices of academic programs and campuses
