NTA NIFT Registration will close soon for NIFT UG and PF programmes. The registration started on December 08, 2026. Read on to find the late fees, correction window details.
NIFT Registration window is open till January 16, 2026 for all the UG and PG programmes. All those who wish to study at NIFT must fill the NIFTEE Registration form now. After January 16, 2026, candidates will not be able to apply for the programmes with the regular fee. Application forms are available at NTA NIFT Website. The application fee for NIFT is INR 2,000 for General/OBC (Non-Creamy)/GEN-EWS Category and INR 500 for SC/ ST/ PwD Category.
NIFT Application with late fee will open on January 17, 2026. Candidates will have the opportunity to apply for NIFT with regukar fee of INR 5000 along with the regular fee.

NIFTEE B.F Tech Eligibility 2026
For NIFTEE B.Tech, canidates should have
- Passed the plus 2 level examination in the 10+2 pattern of examination from any recognized Central/State Board of Secondary Examination, such as the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi/Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi with Mathematics. OR
- A pass grade in the Senior Secondary School Examination conducted by the National Open School with a minimum of five subjects with Mathematics. OR
- 3 or 4 years diploma in any branch of Engineering recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education after secondary examination/10th standard. OR
- Any Public School/Board/University Examination in India or in foreign countries recognized by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to the 10+2 system with Mathematics. OR
- General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London/Cambridge/Sri Lanka) at the Advanced (A) level with Mathematics/International Baccalaureate (IB).

NIFT 2026: Photo specification for NIFTEE Application form
The recent passport size photograph should be in colour with 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against white background.
- A recent colour photograph (JPG format, size 10 - 200Kb) in which the face shall occupy 80% of the image, with full face (without mask), both ears clearly visible against white background.
- Signature file should be JPG/JPEG format (clearly legible) between 10 kb to 30 kb.
- Scanned copy of Identity Proof (for those candidates who will verify their identities through methods other than Aadhaar or DigiLocker) should be in format JPG/JPEG between 10 kb to 200 kb (clearly legible).
- A scanned copy of Disability/UDID certificate should be a PDF between 50 kb to 300 kb (clearly legible), wherever applicable.

The maximum age should be less than 24 years as on 1st August of the year of admission. The upper age limit may be relaxed by a period of 5 (five) years for candidates of the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe/Person with Disability (PwD) categories.

NTA NIFT Application form can be filled with late fee from January 17, 2026 to January 19, 2026. The late fee of INR 5,000 will be applicable along with the regular fee. NIFT Registration window is still open with regular fee till January 16, 2026.

NIFT Application 2026: Closing soon
NTA NIFT Application is closing soon with regular fees. The last date to fill the application form is January 16, 2026. After this, late fee will be applicable.
The NTA will not edit/ modify/ alter any information entered by the candidate under any circumstances. It will also not entertain requests for change in information. So, you must exercise utmost caution when filling up the form.
Request for corrections made by any candidates through Post/Fax/ WhatsApp/ Email/ by hand will not be entertained by NTA.
The application process for NIFT will be conducted online. After completing the application process, inclduing payment of fees, the candidate must download a printout of the application form.
In fact, the NIFT prospectus prescribes the candidate to “apply on time and keep a printout / photocopy of application form for further reference along with proof of payment.”
