NIFT has released the notification and guidelines for withdrawal from the NIFT 2026 Admission process. It has also released about the refund process and amount. Read on to know all about the NIFT refund process in case of withdrawal.
The final date to withdraw from NIFT 2026 admission process and get a full refund is July 17, 2026 till midnight. According to NIFT counselling guidelines, students who submit their withdrawal request through NIFT admission portal on or before July 17 will receive a refund of the fee paid after deduction of the registration fee of INR 9,300. But if a candidate withdraws from NIFT admission after July 17, 2026, he/she will not be eligible for a full refund. In such cases, only security deposit will be refunded.
All withdrawal requests must be submitted only through NIFT official admission portal. Requests sent through email, offline applications or any other mode will not be accepted.

Students who want to withdraw after the start of the academic session on July 29, 2026, must submit a withdrawal and refund application to Director of the NIFT campus where they have been provisionally admitted. The request will then be processed according to the institute's applicable refund rules.
Candidates are advised to carefully check their admission plans and complete any withdrawal formalities before July 17 to avoid any type of challenges.
