UCEED 2023 Seat Allotment for Round I to be released today; Check details

The seat allotment will be based on the UCEED 2023 merit rank and college options picked by the candidate. After seat allotment, candidates need to pay the seat acceptance fee and confirm their admission.

IIT Bombay will announce the seat allotment results for UCEED 2023 (Round I) on April 10, 2023. The seat allotment results would be published online at the IIT Bombay - UCEED 2023 admission portal - uceed.iitb.ac.in. To check their results, the candidate needs to click on the seat allotment link; typically no log-in is required to download the seat allotment pdf. 

Candidates who have been allotted seat allotment will have to accept the seat and pay the seat acceptance fees. The seat allotment pdf will contain the detailed schedule for seat acceptance and fee payment.

Details included in the seat allotment letter

The UCEED 2023 seat allotment letter will contain the following information:

• Seat allotment round
• Category-wise Opening and Closing Ranks for the participating institutes
• Status - Fresh allotment, Upgrade, etc.
• Deadline for withdrawal of seat
• The updated schedule for seat allotment, acceptance, and fee payment
• Refund policy

Post-seat allotment options for the candidate

Candidates who have been allotted seats in the UCEED 2023 counseling - Round 1 may accept the seat, opt for an upgrade, or reject the seat. 

If the candidate declines a seat, he or she will not be considered for admission in subsequent rounds of seat allotment. Also, the current allocation for the candidate will be canceled.

If the candidate has paid the seat acceptance fee and opts for withdrawal/cancel their provisionally allotted seats on or before the given deadline, the candidate will get a refund after deducting seat cancellation and processing charges of ₹ 5000 (Rupees five thousand only). Refund requests after the due date will not be entertained.
