In the Times Higher Education Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026, Amrita University has secured 37th position. The University has received a 98.1 rating in Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure, 86.2 in No Poverty rating and 87.6 in clean water and sanitation, and the overall rating is 93.4.

Amrita Vishwavidyapeetam has grabbed 37th position in the Times Higher Education Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026, tied with Queen’s University Belfast.

In the Times Higher Education Sustainability Impact Ratings 2026, Amrita University has secured 37th position. The University has received a 98.1 rating in Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure, 86.2 in No Poverty rating and 87.6 in clean water and sanitation, and the overall rating is 93.4.

Amrita has achieved this ranking among more than 1,500 institutions across 115 countries and regions assessed for their real-world contributions to the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The results were announced at the Global Sustainable Development Congress 2026 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
