AP EAMCET 2026 Reaches Day 4 today; Answer Key Expected on May 23
AP EAMCET 2026 enters Day 4 for the engineering exams. The test is underway across Andhra Pradesh under strict guidelines. The AP EAMCET 2026 enters Day 4 today, May 15, 2026. The test will be conducted across major centres in Andhra Pradesh in computer-based test mode. Conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), this state-level entrance is conducted to shortlist candidates for admission into professional engineering courses.
AP EAMCET 2026 Exam Timings
The entrance examination is being administered in online Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across two shifts:

Shift 1 (Morning Session): 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM

Shift 2 (Afternoon Session): 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
AP EAMCET Exam Format
The test will be conducted in 3-hour time duration and will features 160 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), split into Math (80 questions), Physics (40 questions), and Chemistry (40 questions). There is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
To safeguard the integrity of the test, local authorities have deployed high-security protocols across all regional venues.

Authorities are strictly enforcing a "no late entry" rule. Candidates who arrive even one minute past the shift commencement time face immediate disqualification.

Students must produce a physical printout of their AP EAMCET 2026 Hall Ticket alongside a valid government-issued photo ID card to enter the hall.

Smartwatches, calculators, logbooks, notes, mobile phones, and all other electronic gadgets are strictly banned inside the examination venues.
Difficulty Trends From Previous Sessions
Feedback gathered from aspirants during the first three days shows a moderate-to-difficult overall trend with Maths reported as a time-consuming and lengthy section, requiring heavy calculation. While Physics was highly conceptual and formula-heavy numerical problems. Chemistry remained easiest.
Following today's sessions, the test for the engineering stream will take a 2-day brief pause over and wrap up on Monday, May 18, 2026. The Agriculture and Pharmacy streams will follow subsequently from May 19 to May 20, 2026. JNTU Kakinada is scheduled to release the preliminary answer keys on May 23, 2026.
