The Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) has published the official frequently asked questions (FAQs) on the website, admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in. The BITSAT FAQs answer common doubts on the application, eligibility, exam and other topics. Candidates can check a few important BITSAT 2026 FAQs below.

Q. Do I need to apply separately for each BITS campus?

Answer: No. One application covers all three BITS campuses, Pilani, Goa, and Hyderabad. 

Q. What is the eligibility criteria for BITSAT 2026?

Answer: Candidates must score at least 75% aggregate in PCM/PCB and 60% in each individual subject in Class 12. PCB students are eligible only for B.Pharmacy and Environmental Engineering programmes. 

Q. Is a candidate with 74.90% in PCM eligible?

Answer: No. A strict 75% minimum aggregate is required in PCM/PCB. 

Q. Can PCB students apply for B.Pharm?

Answer: Yes. PCB candidates can apply for B.Pharm and certain degree programmes like Environmental Engineering. 

Q. What if my Class 12 results are not ready before June?

Answer: Candidates can appear for BITSAT even if their results arrive by June, but they must meet the eligibility criteria for admission. 

Q. Am I eligible for BITSAT 2026 if I passed Class 12 in 2025?

Answer: Yes, candidates passing in 2025 and 2026 are eligible to apply. Candidates who passed class 12 in 2024 or before are not eligible for BITSAT 2026

Q. What if I made multiple payments while applying?

Answer: The institute will refund the extra amounts. Candidates must submit bank details for verification. 

Q. Can certain application details be edited later?

Answer: Yes, editing options will be available on the official website, but some fields, like Gender, Contact Number, and Email ID cannot be changed. 

Q. Can I attend Session-2 if I miss Session-1?

Answer: Yes, candidates who miss session 1 can still apply for session 2 from April 20 to May 2, 2026. 

Q. Is there reservation or management quota in BITS admissions?

Answer: No. BITS does not have any reservation or management quota for admissions.

Q. I am unable to access the online application. Can you send the application form by email or post?

Answer: The application cannot be sent by email/post. If you get any specific error while applying, please send an email to bitsat@pilani.bits-pilani.ac.in for help with details and queries will also be answered by the admission office available at the numbers +91 1596 255294, 255330, 255540, 255541.

The authority will release the BITSAT 2026 application form tomorrow, Dec 15, 2025. The BITSAT eligibility criteria are already out at admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in. Candidates must check all the updates on Shiksha.com.

Q:   Is there domicile requirement for BITSAT?
A:

No, there is no domicile requirement for BITSAT admission. All Indian students are eligible for admission, if they meet the basic requirements. Through the BITSAT eligibility criteria, the students can check the important requirements that need to be met for admission.

Q:   Are other exam scores accepted for BITSAT?
A:

No other exam scores will be accepted for BITSAT admissions. Students will be considered for admission based on their BITSAT exam scores. However, board toppers will be eligible for direct admission. A separate application process will be open for the board topper direct admission scheme.

Q:   Can I request to review my BITSAT score?
A:

BITS Pilani authorities will not accept any requests to review BITSAT score. Since score is calculated after careful revision, authorities will consider it as final. If there are mistakes in other details, then it can be informed to authorities.
