DCET 2021 exam date postponed to Nov 14; admit card to be out soon

Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has announced the postponement of the DCET 2021 exam date. According to the official notification, DCET 2021 will now be held on November 14 as a pen-paper-based test. The exam will be conducted from 10 AM to 1 PM for all the offered subjects and the total marks will be 180. Previously, the exam was scheduled to be held on October 23, 2021.

The Kannada language test is only compulsory for candidates belonging to Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga. The total marks of the language test will be 50 marks.

DCET 2021 admit card will be released soon on the official website - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/dcet21. Candidates who have registered for the entrance exam will be able to access the DCET admit card 2021 online.

DCET 2021 application form was re-available from September 27 to October 3 in online mode. All candidates who were unable to apply on the previous dates were able to register for the entrance examination.

DCET 2021 will be conducted to provide admissions to the 2nd-year undergraduate engineering programmes and 1st-year undergraduate architecture programmes offered under the lateral entry scheme in the state.
