Overview

DCET Application Form 2026: The Karnataka Examination Authority closed the registration process. The last date to submit application form was April 10. Candidates who wanted to take admission to diploma programmes had to fill DCET 2026 application form. The official website for DCET 2026 is cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. 

The application mode was online and was mandatory in order to be eligible to appear for the exam, scheduled on May 23. In short, Diploma holders who seek lateral entry into the second year of undergraduate engineering programmes and first year of Architecture programmes in state have to take DCET.

The application fee for Diploma CET was INR 650 for general category and INR 500 for SC/ST category. The fee amount is non-refundable and accepted payment mode include netbanking/credit/debit card. Read below to know more about KEA DCET application form 2026.

How to Fill DCET Application Form 2026

The mode of registration for DCET is online. Candidates can follow process mentioned below to fill application form. It must be noted that students who meet meeting eligibility can fill DCET 2026 application form. The process to apply can be checked below -

  • Visit KEA website - cetonline.karantaka.gov.in
  • Click on the "DCET 2026 application form link"
  • Register by entering all basic details, such as name, contact details, etc. to generate application number
  • Now login using credentials and fill rest details - personal, academic, and communication details.
  • Upload documents - photograph and signature along with left-hand thumb impression and parent's signature.
  • Pay fees and submit application form. 
  • Keep a copy for future reference.

To fill the DCET application form, candidates have to pay the application fee online as well as offline. Without the application fee payment, the registration will not be accepted. The candidates who pay the application fee via a challan must keep a copy of the challan safe. The DCET application fee is different for each category and can be checked from the table below.

DCET Application Form Correction Facility

KEA conducts DCET 2026 application form correction after the conclusion of the registration process. The correction link gets activated on the official website, cetonline.karantaka.gov.in/KEA/DCET. Candidates who make any errors to the application form can use the DCET form correction facility to make any changes. Students must note that the DCET application form correction 2026 will be available for limited period only. Only certain fields will be open for corrections. Applicants cannot edit their name, email ID, number, etc.

No, applicants are not required to pay any fee for DCET application form correction. KEA will allow candidates to make correctios in DCET 2026 application form from the login window. What After DCET Application Process 2026?

After the DCET application form 2026 is filled out and submitted, the candidates can download the admit card. KEA release the DCET 2026 admit card on the official website. Details regarding the examination such as date, timings, allotted exam centre and more will be released through the admit card. Candidates will have to present the admit card at the DCET 2026 exam centres otherwise they will not be allowed to attempt the examination.
