DCET Application Form 2026: Registration Process, Documents Required

DCET application form 2026 submission is now over. The mode of application form was online. To sucessfully submit application form, it is mandatory to pay application fee. The DCET 2026 registration fee is non-refundable and accepted payment mode include netbanking/credit/debit card. Candidates can follow process mentioned below to fill application form.

• Go to official website
• The KEA portal is displayed on screen
• Click on DCET 2026 registration link available on homepage
• Now register by entering basic details: name, contact details, etc. to generate application number
• Fill personal, communication, centre, and educational qualification details
• Upload documents - photograph and signature along with left-hand thumb impression and parent's signature.
• Pay registration fee and recheck all details carefully. 
• Keep a copy for future reference

While filling the KEA DCET Registration Form 2026, students had to upload the following documents -

• SSC Marksheet and Passing Certificate
• HSC Marksheet and Passing Certificate
• Any additional qualifying maksheet and passing certificate
• Category certificate
• Character certificate
• Passport photograph
• Government ID poof
• Transfer certifcate (if applicable)

Many students make common mistakes while filling DCET 2026 application form. A single mistake can cause an issue in the candidature procedure. Thus, to submit the application form successfully, candidates must follow the instructions guideline mentioned below -

• Go through DCET 2026 eligibility criteria carefully.
• Late submission or half-edited application form is not accepted. 
• Use a valid and active mobile number and e-mail address only, as OTP will be sent to registered number only.
• Enter all personal and academic details carefully.
• Ensure that the marks and qualifying percentage for the diploma are correct and match with original marksheet.
• Upload the required documents as per the specifications.
• Payment of registration fee is compulsory, otherwise candidature will not be accepted.
• Submit KEA DCET application form 2026 before deadline only
• Take printout and keep copies of submitted form for future reference.

After the completion of the application form, the authorities will activate DCET 2026 form correction facility for a limited period of time. 

To fill the DCET application form, candidates have to pay the application fee online as well as offline. Without the application fee payment, the registration will not be accepted. The candidates who pay the application fee via a challan must keep a copy of the challan safe. The DCET application fee is different for each category and can be checked from the table below.

KEA conducts DCET 2026 application form correction after the conclusion of the registration process. The correction link gets activated on the official website, cetonline.karantaka.gov.in/KEA/DCET. Candidates who make any errors to the application form can use the DCET form correction facility to make any changes. Students must note that the DCET application form correction 2026 will be available for limited period only. Only certain fields will be open for corrections. Applicants cannot edit their name, email ID, number, etc.

After the DCET application form 2026 is filled out and submitted, the candidates can download the admit card. KEA release the DCET 2026 admit card on the official website. Details regarding the examination such as date, timings, allotted test centre and more will be released through the admit card. Candidates must present their hall ticket at DCET exam centres, otherwise they will not be accepted to appear for the exam.
