Delhi Technological University Annual Orientation Programme

Delhi Technological University inaugurated Orientation cum Induction Programme 2025 with virtual address by Chief Guest, Ashish Sood, Minister of Education, Government of Delhi. The ceremony began with traditional lamp lighting by Guest of Honour, Karnal Singh, former Chief of Enforcement Directorate and distinguished alumnus of DCE 1979 batch along with Prof. Prateek Sharma, Vice Chancellor DTU.

Ashish Sood addressed gathering virtually congratulating students on joining DTU and urging them to pursue excellence. He encouraged tackling urban challenges through sustainable and innovative solutions aligned with SDGs and emphasised importance of hackathons and research on Delhi specific issues.

Prof. Narendra Kumar, Registrar, DTU emphasised rich history and legacy of university. He noted that DTU takes immense pride in offering one of finest academic environments and advanced research laboratories.

To mark occasion, DTU Studio premiered specially curated documentary reflecting spirit and theme of induction ceremony. As part of event, 68th edition of DTU Times,  university official newsletter was ceremoniously launched.
