The tweet by IIT Gandhinagar reads, "Today we had the pleasure of hosting Shri Nilesh M Desai, Director of the Space Applications Centre (SAC), one of the major centres of the @isro, who enlightened the audience about "ISRO's Space Technology Programme"."
"Shri Desai talked about the journey of the Indian Space Programme, narrating various success stories, future ambitious #IndianSpace missions, and challenges, and opportunities for young #engineers, #researchers, and #startups in the space sector," reads another tweet by the institute.
After he addressed the students, the Student Satellite Initiative team of the IIT Gandhinagar gave a presentation proposing possible ideas for student satellites by IIT Gandhinagar.
IIT Gandhinagar team granted Indian Patent Certificate for their invention
One of the teams at IIT Gandhinagar has been granted Indian Patent Certificate for their invention. A team from IITGN comprising Prof Sivapriya Kirubakaran, Prof Vijay Thiruvenkatam, Javeena Hussain, Althaf Shaik, and Siddhant Bhoir has been granted an Indian Patent for their invention "A Process for the Preparation of N-Substituted Phenothiazine Derivatives”.
IIT Gandhinagar to organise workshop from November 15 to November 21
The institute is organising a workshop on "AI based approaches in addressing issues related to cognitive health" from November 15 to November 21. The aim is to provide didactic training in techniques with an emphasis on diagnostics and intervention related to cognitive health.
