Dress Code for JEE Main 2026 Exam Tomorrow; Religious Clothing/Items & Important Instructions
As per the new exam day advisory that NTA has uploaded on January 20, today, there are some important dresscode related guidelines, especially for candidates with religious items. Check the complete details below.
JEE Main 2026 dresscode has not been specifically mentioned by NTA on the admit card, information brochure or on the fresh advisory released today. Therefore, candidates remain confused about the JEE Main 2026 exam day dress code. NTA only mentions that shoes with a thick sole and garments with large buttons are not allowed. This instruction is provided by NTA so that the frisking process is seamless and tension-free for all candidates.
Apart from that, NTA has mentioned that Sikh candidates are permitted to wear their religious articles, i.e., "KARA" and "KIRPAN".
There is no other official dress code that is mentioned by NTA on the information brochure, admit card or public notices.
However, candidates should take care of the following norms on the exam day so that their exam day experience is smooth and the frisking process is smooth.
