The institute claims that the technology will help monitor every student’s performance at micro-level and a feedback will be given accordingly.

Forum for Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination (FIITJEE), which prepares students for various competitive exams, has announced the launch of eSchool, an ed-tech initiative to scale up its offline teaching capabilities with the help of technology.  

Now, students living in smaller cities or towns, who do not have access to quality preparatory services in their vicinity, need not relocate to a larger city. They can now access FIITJEE’s classroom preparatory services in the form of live online classes from the comfort of their home. 

"Children residing in tier 2 and 3 cities can have access to coaching for competitive exams that is available in metro cities such as Delhi. Every student’s performance will be monitored at micro-level and a feedback will be given accordingly, the institute said in a statement. 

It said, “At FIITJEE eSchool, we will bring offline teaching expertise to online platform and help children wherever they are physically located to leverage our capabilities to realise their goal.” 

Who can benefit from this? 

  • JEE aspirants residing in cities where there is no access to quality education in their vicinity.  
  • Students of Classes VI, VII, VIII, IX and X residing in tier 2 or 3 cities where there is a lack of exposure to competitive exams, career guidance. 
  • Students from weaker financial background  
  • Often parents of Girl students felt apprehensive of sending their child to another city for engineering entrance preparation now they can attend classes from the comfort of their home.
