JEE Main 2026 Updates: National Testing Agency has released final JEE Main 2026 city intimation slip for registered candidates. Through JEE Main intimation slip, candidates can know their city where their exam centre will be located. This allows them to make travel and accommodation arrangements in advance. Around 14.5 lakh candidates are expected to appear for JEE Main 2026 session 1

As per schedule, JEE Main will be conducted over 6 days on January 21, 22, 23, 24, 28 & 29, 2026 in two shifts per day. Now, candidates are waiting for release of JEE Main admit card. They have to use their login details application number and password to download JEE Main 2026 hall ticket from official website of NTA. 

Revised JEE Main 2026 City Intimation Slip: What Candidates Should Know

Some candidates have reported receiving a revised JEE Main session 1 city intimation slip after an earlier version was already released. They are advised to download the updated JEE Main 2026 city slip and plan their travel according to latest city details mentioned on it. Any previous version of JEE Main city intimation slip should not be considered.

How to Download the JEE Main 2026 City Intimation Slip? 

Candidates appearing for session 1 JEE Mains can download city intimation slip by going through these steps 

  • Go to official website jeemain.nta.nic.in
  • On homepage, click on “JEE Main 2026 City Intimation Slip”
  • Now, log in using Application Number and Date of Birth/Password
  • JEE Main city intimation slip will appear on screen
  • Download and save a copy for future reference

JEE Main 2026 City Intimation Slip VS Admit Card

Candidates need to understand that city intimation slip is not JEE Main admit card. The intimation slip only provides information about exam city and date. Whereas the JEE Main 2026 admit card informs about the exact exam centre, date, shift, and reporting time. Entry to exam hall will not be permitted using the city slip. Candidates need to carry printed copy of JEE Main admit card.
