IISc Bangalore Starts Application For MTech in Sustainable Technologies

GATE 2024: The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) Bangalore has started admissions to the MTech programme in sustainable technologies for eligible candidates. Those interested can fill up the IISc MTech admission application form 2024 online at the official website: admissions.iisc.ac.in. The last date to apply for IISc MTech admission is March 22, 2024.

The two-year MTech programme in sustainable technologies at IISc is offered by the Centre for Sustainable Technologies (CST). There are only 10 seats in the programme. Candidates will get options of specialisation in water, energy, and buildings.

They must note that MTech admission in sustainable technologies at IISc will be based on the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 score. As of now, the GATE result is yet to be announced. As per the schedule released, GATE 2024 result will be declared on March 16. 

Who are eligible to apply for IISc MTech in Sustainable Technologies Admission 2024-25? 

As per the eligibility criteria mentioned on the official website, candidates with a minimum of second class or equivalent in BTech (mechanical/biotechnology) or a bachelor’s degree in architecture or master’s degree (chemistry/biology/management) are eligible to apply for IISc MTech admission.

• Chemistry (CY)
• Environmental Science and Engineering (ES)

• Life Sciences (XL)

IISc MTech Admission 2024 Application Fees 

To apply for the MTech programme at IISc through GATE score 2024, candidates belonging to the general, Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) categories have to pay a fee of INR 800. Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) candidates have to pay INR 400.
