GATE 2026 application correction facility is ongoing till March 12. Candidates whose application forms are marked as defect or are provisionally accepted must rectify defects onlin at GOAPs portal. Check steps here

GATE 2026: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati will be closing GATE correction facility on March 12 for those candidates whose application forms are marked as defective or are provisionally accepted.  All such candidates have received an email for rectification of errors in GATE application form. To make the necessary changes, they have to login at GOAPS portal at goaps.iitg.ac.in. 

They need to use their login details enrollment ID and password to make corrections in GATE 2026 application form. Candidates also need to GATE form correction fees by using - Credit card/debit card/internet banking/UPI wallet. 

How to Make Corrections in GATE Application Form 2026?

Candidates can rectify errors in GATE 2026 form via the online correction facility. They can check these steps to know how to edit GATE application 2026

• Visit gate2026.iitg.ac.in
• Click on GOAPS Portal
• Login using enrollment ID and password
• Find correction link on dashboard
• Click on details that one wants to change
• Pay fees and submit GATE form 
• Take printout for future reference

GATE 2026 Result Date 

IIT Guwahati will declare GATE result 2026 on March 19. Candidates who appeared for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering on Feb 7, 8,14, and 15 can check their GATE result at GOAPS portal gate2026.iitg.ac.in. They have to use their enrollment ID and password to download GATE result. IIT Guwahati will also release GATE qualifying mark for all 30 papers. After declaration of result, GATE scorecard 2026 will be made available from March 27 to May 31.
