GATE 2026 registration date: The Indian Institute of Guwahati will start the GATE 2026 registration on August 28. The GATE 2026 application window will open on August 28 on the GATE’s 2026 official website- gate2026.iitg.ac.in. The GATE 2026 registration dates have been revised. Candidates willing to apply for MTech or PhD programmes in IITs, NITs, or prestigious institutions on the prescribed dates.
When to apply for the GATE Application Form?
The GATE 2026 application form link will be available from August 28 to September 28 with no late fee charges. After that, the GATE form process will be available till October 9 (with late fee charges). The GATE 2026 admit card will be released on January 2, and the exam will be held on February 7, 8, 14, and 15.
Steps to register for the GATE 2026 Application Form
The GATE registration 2026 process is conducted online only. To apply, candidates need to visit the official website and click on the application form link. Then, applicants need to register at the GOAPS portal to generate an enrollment ID and password.
After successful registration, candidates can log in at the GATE candidate login 2026 portal to fill out the application form. After filling in the details, upload the GATE documents and pay the registration fees. Once all the steps are complete, confirm the declaration and submit the GATE 2026 application form.
NOTE: Candidates are advised to upload the GATE documents as per the specifications. The candidate's photo and signature must be as per the specifications.
