GATE 2026 registration date: The Indian Institute of Guwahati will start the GATE 2026 registration on August 28. The GATE application form 2026 will be made available on the official website - gate2026.iitg.ac.in. GATE 2026 Registration Date

The GATE 2026 application window will open on August 28 on the GATE’s 2026 official website- gate2026.iitg.ac.in. The GATE 2026 registration dates have been revised. Candidates willing to apply for MTech or PhD programmes in IITs, NITs, or prestigious institutions on the prescribed dates. 

When to apply for the GATE Application Form?

Registrations for GATE 2026 will begin from August 28. The last date to apply without late fee is September 28. After that, GATE application form 2026 will be available till October 9 with late fee. Registered candidates will be able to download hall ticket on January 2. The GATE exam dates are February 7, 8, 14, and 15 in two sessions.

Steps to register for the GATE 2026 Application Form

GATE registration 2026 process is done online. To apply, candidates have to visit official website (GOAPS portal). Then, applicants must register to generate an enrollment ID and password. After registration, candidates can log in using credentials to fill application form. After filling in details, upload GATE documents and pay registration fees. Once all steps are complete, confirm declaration and submit GATE 2026 application form

NOTE: Candidates are advised to upload the GATE documents as per the specifications. The candidate's photo and signature must be as per the specifications.
