What are new GATE 2026 dates? Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, has revised GATE 2026 registration dates and has updated them on the website. GATE 2026 application form will now be available on August 28 at gate2026.iitg.ac.in. GATE aspirants can check new GATE 2026 dates below, along with steps, fees, and other details. 

GATE registration 2026 link will be activated on August 28 on GATE’s 2026 official website - gate2026.iitg.ac.in. Earlier, it was supposed to be released on August 25. Now, GATE exam schedule 2026 has been revised, and can be checked below. Candidates who meet GATE eligibility 2026 can register for the exam.

GATE 2026 Application Form Process

First, candidates have to register at gate2026.iitg.ac.in and log in using GATE enrollment ID and password (generated at time of candidate registration). Then, candidates have to log in and fill personal, educational, and communication details. Once, all information are filled, upload documents and pay fees. Lastly, confirm declaration form and submit GATE application form 2026.

Documents Required for GATE 2026 Application Form Filling

Candidates filling out GATE 2026 exam application form must keep following documents ready -

• Scanned photograph and signature (as per specifications)
• A scanned valid ID proof
• Category/dyslexic certificate or PwD certificate in PDF format (optional)

Candidates are advised to carefully review GATE 2026 official notification before filling application form. Aspirants who submit their form can check their application status using their GATE 2026 enrollment ID and password at GOAPS portal.
