GATE 2027 Dates: Registration Start Date, Exam Eligibility, Documents Required for Form Filling

GATE 2027 Dates: IIT Madras GATE registration via GOAPS will begin on August 14. Candidates who want to apply must review the GATE information brochure 1.1, as many changes have been implemented by the authorities this year for GATE 2027 registration. Check details below. 

As per the official GATE 2027 dates, the official registration start date is August 14. The GATE registration last date with no late fee is September 21, 2026, and with no late fee is September 30. The official website to apply is gate2027.iitm.ac.in. Interested candidates, must note that form submission is mandatory to appear for GATE exam 2027. 

To apply for GATE 2027, candidates need to create an account at GOAPS. To create an account, applicants' details, such as name, email ID, contact number, etc. are mandatory. 

• The GOAPS (GATE online application process system) portal will be used for all GATE exam-related activities
• During GATE 2027 registration, candidates need to provide their facial details. Also, it is recommended to register in DigiLocker (verified) for a smooth application process.
• After registration, enrollment ID and password will be generated (login credentials)
• While filling application form, candidates must provide their personal, educational, and exam city details

Candidates who are in 3rd or final year of a relevant degree or have passed their graduation from a recognised university can apply for GATE 2027. Candidates must note that there is no age limit to apply for GATE exam. This year, the organising institute (IIT Madras) is conducting GATE exam for six days in two shifts for 30 subject papers. The GATE 2027 dates are Feb 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, and 21, 2027.
