The GATE 2026 application form correction facility will close TODAY (November 10). Candidates who want to change their details, such as name, category, exam paper, center, educational qualifications, etc. must do so by TODAY. Applied candidates will be able to download their GATE admit card 2026 on January 2 at GOAPS portal.Β
Steps to access IIT Guwahati GATE 2026 Application Correction Window
Candidates can edit their GATE application form 2026 at GOAPS portal using their enrollment ID and password. To change any information, applicants have to select the relevant data, include the details they want to edit and pay the required fee. Candidates, who want to change their name, must upload their name change document in PDF format.Β
GATE 2026 Exam Date
The Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, will conduct the GATE 2026 exam on February 7, 8, 14, and 15 in two shifts. The exam timings are forenoon (9:30 am to 12:30 pm) and afternoon (2:30 pm to 5:30 pm). The entrance test will take place for 30 test papers. Candidates appearing for the exam must carry their GATE admit card 2026 along with a valid ID proof (the one submitted during registration).Β
The GATE 2026 branch-wise dates will be released soon at gate2026.iitg.ac.in. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official website for the latest updates.
The GATE 2026 admit card release date is January 13, 2026. The hall ticket is available for download at GATE official website. Candidates whose application form has been accepted can download their hall ticket at GOAPS using their enrollment ID and password.

No, the GATE authorities do not send the admit card by post or any other means. Candidates have to download their GATE admit card from the official website only. The GATE 2026 admit card download link will be made available at the GOAPS portal.
