Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board (HPTSB) has announced the HP PAT LEET 2026 exam date as May 24, 2026. The exam will be conducted for 2 hours from 10 am to 12 noon. Candidates who register for the exam will be issued the admit card to appear in the test. The HP LEET application form 2026 will be released in March/April 2026.

HPTSB has announced the HP LEET 2026 exam date on its website, hptechboard.com. Candidates who seek direct admission to the second year engineering course can apply for admission through the lateral entry scheme. For this, students have to appear in the HP LEET exam on the scheduled date.

HP LEET 2026 Exam Date Announced; Registrations Expected in March/April 2026

Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board (HPTSB) has announced the HP PAT LEET 2026 exam date as May 24, 2026. The exam will be conducted for 2 hours from 10 am to 12 noon. Candidates who register for the exam will be issued the admit card to appear in the test. The HP LEET application form 2026 will be released in March/April 2026. Aspirants must check the eligibility criteria before applying online.

HP LEET Exam Pattern 2026

The authorities will conduct the exam in offline mode as a pen-and-paper-based test. Candidates will be issued the admit card with the complete exam centre address a few days before the exam. The exam will have 100 MCQs for a total of 400 marks. The test paper will be available in English only and will have questions from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and General Knowledge. For each correct answer, students will get 4 marks, while 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

HP LEET Eligibility Criteria

Before applying for the exam, students must know the HP LEET eligibility criteria. The following criteria requirements are based on the previous year's notification.

  • Candidates should have passed the 12th standard (or equivalent) examination from any recognised board with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects, along with Mathematics/Biology OR
  • Passed 12th standard (or equivalent) Science with Mathematics / Technical Vocational subject as one of the subjects OR
  • Passed 10th standard (or equivalent) with two years IТI under NCVТ/SCVT/СОЕ in the engineering stream.
