IIT Delhi launches Advanced Programme in EV Technology

Continuing Education Programme at IIT Delhi has launched a 6 months duration advanced programme in electric vehicle technology.

The candidates interested in pursuing a course in electric vehicle technology in India must know that the Continuing Education Programme at IIT Delhi has launched a 6 months duration advanced programme in electric vehicle technology. The last date to apply for the programme is January 2, 2023.

Upon successful completion of the course with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the evaluation components and a minimum of 60% attendance in lectures and tutorials, the candidates will be awarded a Completion Certificate.

Eligibility Criteria

The following are the eligibility criteria to participate in the programme:

• For Indian participants - Graduates or Diploma Holders from a recognised University/Institutes(UGC/AICTE/DEC/AIU/State Government) in any discipline.
• For international participants - Graduation or equivalent degree from any recognised University or institution in their respective country.

The total fee of the course is INR 1,18,000 (inclusive of taxes), instalment 1 will be INR 59,000 and instalment 2 will be INR 59,000. The booking amount (For *EMI Applications) is INR 11,800. 

More Details

The programme will start on January 8, 2023. There will be a total of 3 exams, total content hours will be 70+, the weekly time commitment is 5 hours and the number of live sessions is 22+.

The programme will provide a basic understanding of all working of the storage devices from a single cell to pack level, duty cycles led sizing of storage and basics of power electronics required for interfacing devices with drivetrains.

The programme content will also include various aspects of charging from device to electrical grid level as well as an introduction to smart grids, net metering and system integration.
