IIT Guwahati to conduct JEE Advanced 2016

JEE Advanced 2016 will be conducted by the IIT Guwahati according to officials from the institute. Associate Professor in Department of Mathematics at IIT Guwahati, Dr. K.V. Krishna informed shiksha.com, “ IIT Guwahati will be conducting JEE Advanced 2016 this year. And soon enough we will be declaring the dates for the exam”.

He further added, “ The dates will be released in a week or so after finalizing the events internally”.

Once JEE Advanced 2016 are out, you can view JEE Advanced 2016 important dates here! In 2015, JEE Advanced 2015 exam pattern changed too.

JEE Advanced every year is conducted by the seven zonal IITs with guidance from the Joint Admission Board (JAB). And the top 1.5 lakh rank holders in JEE Main are eligible to appear for the exam.

Last year, as many as 1,17,238 aspirants took the exam for admissions to approx. 10,00 seats in 20 IITs(Indian Institutes of Technology).
