Unofficial sources indicate that this year, a total of 187,223 candidates have registered for JEE Advanced 2025. Furthermore, some reports suggest that 1,364 new BTech seats have been introduced in the IITs this year, bringing the overall total to more than 18,000 across the 23 IITs. The exact data of JEE Advanced 2025 registered candidates and the number of candidates appearing will be available with the JEE Advanced result. The official IIT seat matrix for 2025-26 will be available with the JoSAA 2025 counselling details.

IIT JEE Advanced 2025 Answer Keys

IIT JEE Advanced 2025: 1.87 Lakh Candidates Against 18000+ Seats, Answer Keys on May 26

IIT Kanpur will release the JEE Advanced 2025 answer keys on May 26. With the release of JEE Advanced 2025 answer keys, IIT Kanpur will also start the JEE Advanced 2025 answer key challenge facility. Using the answer key challenge facility, candidates can challenge any question and answer in the provisional JEE Advanced 2025 answer key that they feel is incorrect. The JEE Advanced answer key challenge facility will be open till May 27. A challenge fee will be applicable against each objection made.

The JEE Advanced 2025 answer key PDFs will be available under the candidate login at jeeadv.ac.in. On May 22, IIT Kanpur released the JEE Advanced response sheet 2025. The JEE Advanced answer key and response sheet can be used by the candidates to get an estimate of their marks in the exam even before the JEE Advanced 2025 result is announced on June 2. This year, the JEE Advanced cutoff is expected to drop to 90 to 95 marks. However, reports also suggest that the seats in IITs have increased, which in turn may also affect the IIT cutoffs. In 2024, 23 IITs offered 17695 seats. This year, the seats across the IITs are estimated to increase to more than 18000.

The JEE Advanced 2025 cutoff will be available with the JEE Advanced 2025 result. A candidate is required to pass the subject-wise cutoff and overall aggregate cutoff to pass the JEE Advanced 2025 exam and become eligible for IIT admission.
