IIT Kharagpur, IIM Raipur tie up to set up ERP software

IIT Kharagpur will set up its robust ERP software in the server of IIM Raipur. This will help IIM Raipur better manage its day-to-day activities pertaining to academics, accounts, establishment and purchases. 

The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Raipur and the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur have collaborated by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for installation of an ERP support system. IIM Raipur released a statement which said under the pact, IIT Kharagpur will set up its robust ERP software in the server of IIM Raipur. The MoU was signed between IIM Raipur Director Ram Kumar Kakani and IIT Kharagpur Director Virendra Kumar Tiwari. 

The installation of the ERP System will help IIM Raipur better manage its day-to-day activities pertaining to academics, accounts, establishment and purchases. 

IIT KGP to also customise ERP software for IIM Raipur 

It will also help the institute make important policy decisions. IIT Kharagpur will not only install and provide support for the ERP system but also customise it for IIM Raipur. Moreover, the MoU will accelerate the development of IIM Raipur by providing support for technical education at all levels. 

The advanced technical capabilities of IIT Kharagpur will help IIM Raipur face the challenges that national institutions face. The MoU will pave the way for a long-term relationship that will add value to both institutes, the institute stated.
