The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Patna has opened spot admissions for various academic programmes offered in hybrid mode (a combination of online and offline learning) for the 2025-26 academic session. The spot admission process will remain open until July 14, 2025, at the institute’s Patna campus.

These hybrid-mode programmes are designed to offer greater flexibility and industry-aligned education, allowing students to gain practical exposure alongside academic learning.

IIT Patna highlighted that 100% of the first batch (861 students) from these hybrid programmes are currently engaged in internships across various industries—demonstrating the relevance, quality, and industry integration of these courses.

Prof. A.K. Thakur, Registrar of IIT Patna, stated that the programmes have been developed in alignment with the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020), with a focus on equipping students with advanced technological and managerial skills to contribute effectively to the vision of a ‘Developed India’.
