Glenn Carle, retired Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) officer and former US Deputy National Intelligence Office, and other industry experts will discuss various aspects of the changing global scenario.

The Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IITGN) is organising an interactive session on ‘India as a Driver of Global Growth’ at the Jasubhai Memorial Auditorium on September 28 from 5 to 7 pm. The session is open to all. 

International speakers from diverse fields, including Glenn Carle, retired Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) officer and former US Deputy National Intelligence Officer; Prof Atul Singh, Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Editor-in-Chief of Fair Observer; Prof Neeldhara Misra, Amba and VS Sastry Chair Associate Professor, Computer Science and Engineering at IITGN; Sunil Parekh, Founding Curator at AGS, an initiative of the World Economic Forum, Geneva, and Member of FICCI National Executive Council will address the gathering on the occasion.  

Christopher Roper Schell, US Congressional Candidate 2020 and partner at Fair Observer Intelligence, will moderate the session. The speakers will discuss various aspects of the changing global scenario and enlighten the audience about India’s strongholds and importance in the world economy. 

IITGN leadership programme: 94 students clear JEE Advanced 2022 

Of the total 100 students who attended the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar Dakshina Leadership Programme, 94 have cleared the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced 2022 with four students scoring in the range of 1000 to 2000 rank and one achieving All India Rank (AIR) 1 in the Scheduled Caste-Persons with Disabilities (SC-PwD) category.  

IITGN-Dakshana Leadership Programme helps bright and economically disadvantaged students, predominantly from rural India, to prepare for IIT and medical entrance exams.
