The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) released the NIRF 2024 ranking on August 12, 2024. Jadavpur University has slipped to 12th rank in the Engineering institutes ranking this year, In 2023 Institute was able to secure a place among the top 10 engineering institutes in India, being ranked 10th in the NIRF 2023 ranking. Jadavpur University has got 17th rank in the overall category in NIRF 2024 ranking, which was the 13th rank as per the NIRF 2023 ranking.
