JEE Advanced 2016 will be held on May 22

JEE Advanced 2016 will be held on May 22 according to the official website of exam.  After much speculation and wait, IIT Guwahati, the organizing institute of the exam, released the exam dates on November 7, 2016.

Shiksha.com had earlier reported that JEE Advanced 2016 exam might be conducted on May 22. Other related details and information about the exam is yet to furnished by the institute.

Interestingly, this year top two lakh candidates from JEE Main 2016 will be eligible to appear in JEE Advanced 2016. In the last few months, there have been speculations about the JEE Advanced intake going up to 34000 from 10000.  

IIT Guwahati launched the JEE Advanced 2016 website recently.  The exam will be divided into two parts – Paper 1 and Paper 2. Paper 1 will be conducted from 9 am to 12 noon, while, the Paper 2 will be held from 2 pm to 5 pm.

This is very good decision taken by committe because all the state boards marks are not similar.The entrance test for IIT should actually on the basis of competitive exams nothing else. Like in case the student did good in entrance exam but got less marks in +2 exam then his no will not come in meri
