JEE Advanced 2026 Exam Date Announced; IIT Roorkee to Conduct Exam on May 17

IIT Roorkee conduct JEE Advanced 2026 on May 17. The JEE Advanced 2026 exam will be held in CBT mode across the nation and at a few cities outside India. The exam centre list and complete schedule will be available in due course at jeeadv.ac.in. The JEE Advanced 2026 exam will consist of two papers, as usual. Paper 1 will be held from 9 am to 12 noon, and Paper 2 from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm, and both papers are compulsory to attend.
The JEE Advanced 2026 website has been updated with the exam date only as of now. More details like the JEE Advanced 2026 eligibility, syllabus, admission criteria, complete schedule is yet to be updated.
The top 2.5 lakh candidates of JEE Main 2026 will be eligible to apply for JEE Advanced 2026. The candidates can check their JEE Main 2026 session 2 result for the JEE Main 2026 cutoff for JEE Advanced 2026 eligibility. Last year, a total of 2,50,236 candidates qualified for JEE Advanced.Β

JEE Main 2026 session 1 exam will be held from January 21 to 30, while session 2 will be held from April 2 to 9.
Eligibility for JEE Advanced 2026
To be eligible for JEE Advanced 2026 exam, candidates have to appear for JEE Main and qualify the cutoff. Apart from that, they should be born on or after October 1, 2001. Five years of age relaxation is given to SC, ST, and PwD candidates, and these candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 1996. Additionally, the candidates who have passed class 12 in 2025 or will pass in 2026 can apply for JEE Advanced exam. All those candidates who have passed their class 12 boards in 2024 or before cannot apply for the exam.
