JEE Main 2022 Students raise concerns and request for more attempts of JEE Main

National Testing Agency is expected to announce the JEE Main 2022 dates anytime soon. As reported by media outlets, students may be able to attempt JEE Main 2022 only twice i.e., in April and May. Due to the rising COVID-19 cases, NTA had hiked the number of JEE Main attempts to four last year. However, in 2019, JEE Main had been held twice and the students were selected based on their best attempt.
Students’ Reactions on Social Media
The news of JEE Main 2022 having only two attempts has made a buzz on social media. Students are strongly protesting on having only two attempts and are requesting more. Since the board exams are also to be held in March-April, the students are requesting more JEE Main 2022 exam dates to ensure that they are able to give their best performance. A hashtag #4AttemptsForJeeMain has also been started on social media by the students.

JEE Advanced 2022 Dates Confirms Number of JEE Main Attempts?
Unexpectedly, IIT Bombay has announced the JEE Advanced 2022 dates at jeeadv.ac.in. This is the first time that the JEE Advanced dates have been announced before JEE Main dates. Since JEE Advanced 2022 registration will start from June 8, the process of JEE Main 2022 is expected to end in May further solidifying the reports that the exam will be held twice in April and May.
JEE Advanced 2022 will be held on July 3 for two papers – Paper I (9 AM to 12 Noon) and Paper 2 (2:30 PM to 5:30 PM).
When will JEE Main 2022 registrations start?
Students can expect the JEE Main 2022 application form to be released anytime soon. Since the JEE Advanced dates have been announced, NTA is expected to start the JEE Main 2022 process as soon as possible. JEE Main application form 2022 will be available online for all of the attempts.
JEE Main is conducted annually to provide an opportunity to the students to study BTech courses offered by NITs, IIITs and GFTIs. It is also the first step for those candidates who wish to get admissions into the IITs.
