The National Testing Agency (NTA) has concluded theΒ JEE Main 2023 January 31Β shift 2 examΒ at 6 pm. The exam was conducted from 3 pm to 6 pm. Β Β
As per the students who appeared for JEE Main 2023 31 January shift 2 exam, JEE Main 2023 January 31 paper was moderately tough. Physics section was very easy. There were questions from Mechanics, Waves and Modern Physics. Mathematics section was calculative and lengthy. There were questions from Calculus, Co-ordinate Geometry, 3D and Algebra. In chemistry, there were questions from NCERT books.
As per the students who appeared for JEE Main 2023 31 January shift 1 exam, the difficulty level of JEE Main 31 Jan shift 1 paper was moderate. Overall Mathematics was the most difficult subject to attempt.The order of difficulty in different subjects as assessed by a large section of the candidates is Mathematics > Physics > Chemistry.Β
TheΒ NTA will upload JEE Main 2023 question paper, responses ofΒ candidates and the provisional answer key once the JEE Main SessionΒ 1 is over. Candidates will be able to access these documents afterΒ February 1, 2023.Β Β Β Β Β
ApplicantsΒ appearing for the exam are advised to carry their JEE Main admitΒ card 2023 along with one valid photo ID proof.Β JEE Main 2023Β Session 1 isΒ being heldΒ on January 24, 25, 29, 30, 31 and February 1 for paper 1 (BE/Btech).Β On January 28, the BArch/BPlanning paper will be held in singleΒ shift.Β Β Β Β
JEEΒ Main 2023 exam day guidelinesΒ Β Β Β Β Β
- CandidatesΒ will be allowed entry or exit into/from the JEE Main 2023 examΒ centre only as per the schedule.Β Β Β Β Β Β
- AnyΒ conversation or gesture or disturbance in the exam hall will beΒ deemed as misbehaviour. If a candidate is found using unfair meansΒ or impersonating, their candidature will be cancelled.Β Β Β Β Β Β
- CandidatesΒ wearing any special attire due to religious reasons are advised toΒ reach the exam centers earlier in order to undergo thoroughΒ checking and mandatory frisking.Β Β Β Β Β
- CarryingΒ the NTA JEE Main admit card 2023 clearly printed on A4 size sheetsΒ is mandatory. Candidates are also required to bring the followingΒ documents- self-declaration form/undertaking/proforma for printedΒ on A4 size sheet, duly filled; valid photo ID proof; simpleΒ transparent ball point pen; a copy of same photograph that was usedΒ in application form to paste on attendance sheet; PwD certificateΒ where applicable; documents related to scribes where applicable.Β Β Β Β Β Β
- Pen/PencilΒ and blank paper of rough work will be provided in the JEE examΒ hall. Candidates must write their name and roll number at the topΒ of their sheet. This sheet will be returned to the invigilatorΒ before leaving the exam hall.Β Β Β Β Β Β
- CandidatesΒ will have to drop their JEE Main Hall Ticket 2023 and rough sheetΒ in the box after displaying it to the invigilator.Β Β Β Β Β Β
- AdditionalΒ items allowed in the exam hall are- personal hand sanitiser (50Β ml), personal transparent water bottle, mask and gloves, sugarΒ tablets/ fruits for diabetic candidates.Β Β
