The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit cards for JEE Main 2026 for exams on January 28 and 29. To download the JEE Main 2026 session 1 admit card, candidates have to use their login credentials - application number and password. On the exam day, candidates have to carry the printed copy of the admit card with a valid ID proof.

Β The National Testing Agency will have issued the JEE Mains hall ticket for candidates who have their exams on January 28 and 29. Read all details below.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit cards for JEE Main 2026 for exams on January 28 and 29. To download the JEE Main 2026 session 1 admit card, candidates have to use their login credentialsΒ  - application number and password. After downloading, NTA has asked the candidates to ensure that the QR Code and the barcode are available while downloading. All candidates should bring the photo ID as uploaded in the online application form and also mentioned in the admit card for proof of identity.

Candidates can download their JEE Main admit card 2026 using the steps below:

  • Open the JEE Main 2026 official website
  • Click on JEE Main admit card download link
  • Login using application number and password
  • Link to download admit card will be displayed on screen
  • Download and take its printout

JEE Main Admit Card for Jan 28 and 29 Released: Exam Time

NTA has released the JEE Main 2026 admit card for the January 28 and 29 exams. As per the admit card notice, the candidates have to appear for the exams as per the time below:

28 Jan 2026 Paper 1 (B.E./B. Tech)

First Shift (09:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon)

Second Shift (03:00 P.M. to 06:00 P.М.)

29 Jan 2026 Paper 2A (B. Arch) or Paper 2B (B. Planning) First Shift (09:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon)
Paper 2A & 2B (B. Arch & B. Planning both) First Shift (09:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M.)

Details Mentioned on JEE Main Admit Card 2026

The JEE Main admit card includes the candidate’s name, roll number, exam date, reporting time, exam centre address, and exam-day instructions. In case of any error or mismatch, candidates should contact NTA immediately.

Candidates have to paste their recent photo and put left hand thumb impression on the printed JEE Main hall ticket in theΒ self declaration section.

For candidates who registered for JEE Main 2026 without using an Aadhaar card, additional verification steps are mandatory. Such candidates have to fill in the "Declaration for Non-Aadhaar Candidates: which is available on the last page (page 4) of the admit card.

JEE Main 2026 Exam Day Instructions

On the exam day, candidates have to carry the printed copy of the admit card with a valid government ID proof. Without the NTA JEE Main admit card, no candidate will be allowed inside the exam centre. All important details about the exam, like the allotted exam centre name, address, shift, JEE Main exam day guidelines, instructions, and reporting time, will be available on the JEE Mains exam admit card
