During the online counselling, aspirants can choose from several participating law colleges. Candidates should check their ranking and previous cutoff of colleges to maximise chances of securing a preferred seat.

After verification, candidates log in at cets.apsche.ap.gov.in during the web‑option window to enter and submit their college preferences for APLAWCET 2026 counselling as per the available list. Students should be careful while they select preferences.

• Bring the rank card in original.

Seat allotment results will be displayed on the same web‑options portal after choice filling, allowing candidates to view their allocated college and seat number. Candidates will need their registration details to check seat allotment result.

After uploading personal and academic documents, candidates must use the web‑options portal to fill their college choices. This step precedes the seat‑allotment announcement. The authority releases allotment results based on filled choices, candidate marks, category, and seat availability.

The authority typically runs three online counselling rounds. It includes two rounds plus a final final mop-up or spot admission round. Each round requires document verification and fee payment before proceeding to the next stage.

Candidates must score at least 35% (42 out of 120 marks) in the entrance exam to participate in the AP LAWCET Counselling 2026. SC and ST candidates have no minimum mark requirement.
