JEE Main 2026 Correction Starts Today; Check Which Edits Require Extra Payment

NTA will open the JEE Main 2026 application form correction facility today, December 1, at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Not all details in the JEE Main 2026 form can be edited. However, some of the details cannot be edited. On the other hand, most of the details can be edited without any extra fee, but there are some changes that will attract extra fees for corrections. To make corrections in the JEE Main 2026 application form, candidates have to login with their JEE Main 2026 application number and date of birth / password.

JEE Main 2026 Application Form Correction - What Details Need Fee for Editing

The following fields in the JEE Main 2026 application form will require a fee if changes are made:

  • Category change: Candidates have to pay the difference in fee when the category is changed.
  • Adding papers: If a candidate adds a paper, then the applicable fee is to be paid.
  • Exam city change: Extra fees will be charged if the exam centre changes to a foreign city.
  • Gender: A difference in fee needs to be paid while changing the gender.

Other details like names, educational details, state code of eligibility, medium of exam, date of birth, signature, and identity details will not require any fee for changes or edits/

The JEE Main 2026 form correction facility will be available until December 2, 11:50 pm.
