The National Testing Agency will start the JEE Main 2026 form correction facility tomorrow, December 1, at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates who have completed the registration process can make corrections to their JEE Main 2026 application form, if needed. To make corrections in the form, candidates must log in with their login details.

The National Testing Agency will start the JEE Main 2026 form correction facility tomorrow, December 1, at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The candidates who have completed the registration process can make corrections in the JEE Main 2026 application form, if needed. To make corrections in the form, candidates have to login with their JEE Main 2026 application number and password/date of birth. The JEE Main application form correction facility will be open until December 2.

JEE Main 2026 Form Correction: These Details Can Be Edited

Not all details in the JEE Main 2026 application form will be available for correction. Only the following fields can be edited:

  1. Candidates can edit any one of the following:
    • Candidate name, or
    • Father name, or
    • Mother name
  2. Class 10 details
  3. Class 12 details
  4. State code of eligibility
  5.  Examination city
  6. Medium of exam
  7. Date of Birth
  8. Gender
  9. Category
  10. Sub-category/PwD (If not verified by UDID Portal)
  11. Signature
  12. Paper (candidates can add paper)
  13. Identity details (Only for candidates who registered with an identity other than Aadhaar)

Apart from the above details, candidates will not be able to edit details like their phone number, email id, Address (Permanent and Present), Emergency Contact details and their photo.

JEE Main 2026 form correction fee can be applicable for editing details in some fields. The additional fee (wherever applicable) must be paid through Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI.

Q:   Do I need to send the printout of JEE Main application form to NTA office?
A: 

No, candidates are not required to send the prinout of JEE Main application form 2026 to the NTA office. Candidates have to fill and submit the application form online only. However, it is advised that candidates download, take a printout of their filled application form and keept it safe until the completion of admission process. JEE Main 2026 application form copy might be required at the time of counselling/admission process in the institute. 

Q:   Can I fill JEE Main application form 2026 offline?
A: 

No, JEE Main application form can only be filled online. The application form of JEE Main is released only in online mode on the website jeemain.nta.ac.in. There is no option of filling the application form in offline mode. Candidates who do not have a laptop/personal computer can visit the computer centre/common service centres to fill the application form. While filling the JEE Main 2026 application form, candidates will also have to upload scanned image of their photo and signature. Candidates belonging to reserved category (Gen-EWS/SC/ST/OBC-NCL) also need to upload the category certificate.

Q:   What is JEE Mains 2026 Session 1 Registration date?
A: 

NTA released JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Application form on October 31. JEE Mains 2026 registration last date session 1 was November 27, 2025. The link to apply for session 1 was available on the website jeemain.nta.nic.in. 

JEE Main form correction opening tomorrow will be a one-time opportunity for the candidates to change or rectify any details in their submitted form. No more form correction facility will be available after this. The details candidates fill in the JEE Main application form 2026 will be used throughout the admission process - in JEE Advanced, as well as in JoSAA counselling. Hence, candidates should make sure all details they submit via the online JEE Main form 2026 are correct and reliable.

NTA will release the JEE Main 2026 city intimation slip for all registered candidates in the first week of January 2026. Via the city intimation slip, candidates will be notified about the city where the NTA will allot the exam centre to the candidate. The exam centre address, time and date of the exam will be allotted via the JEE Main 2026 admit card, which is expected 3 - 4 days before the exam date.

JEE Main 2026 session 1 exam will be held between January 21 and 30. The exact exam dates will soon be announced by NTA on the official website.
