JEE Main 2026 Form Correction Starts Tomorrow at jeemain.nta.nic.in; These Details Can Be Edited
JEE Main 2026 form correction window will open tomorrow. Candidates have to login and complete the form correction process, if required. Check complete details below.
The National Testing Agency will start the JEE Main 2026 form correction facility tomorrow, December 1, at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The candidates who have completed the registration process can make corrections in the JEE Main 2026 application form, if needed. To make corrections in the form, candidates have to login with their JEE Main 2026 application number and password/date of birth. The JEE Main application form correction facility will be open until December 2.
JEE Main 2026 Form Correction: These Details Can Be Edited
Not all details in the JEE Main 2026 application form will be available for correction. Only the following fields can be edited:
- Candidates can edit any one of the following:
- Candidate name, or
- Father name, or
- Mother name
- Class 10 details
- Class 12 details
- State code of eligiblity
- Examination city
- Medium of exam
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- Category
- Sub-category/PwD (If not verified by UDID Portal)
- Signature
- Paper (candidates can add paper)
- Identity details (Only for candidates who registered with an identity other than Aadhaar)
Apart from the above details, candidates will not be able to edit details like their phone number, email id, Address (Permanent and Present), Emergency Contact details and their photo.
JEE Main 2026 form correction fee can be applicable for editing details in some fields. The additional fee (wherever applicable) must be paid through Credit/Debit Card/Net Banking/UPI.
JEE Main form correction opening tomorrow will be a one-time opportunity for the candidates to change or rectify any details in their submitted form. No more form correction facility will be available after this. The details candidates fill in the JEE Main application form 2026 will be used throughout the admission process - in JEE Advanced, as well as in JoSAA counselling. Hence, candidates should make sure all details they submit via the online JEE Main form 2026 are correct and reliable.
NTA will release the JEE Main 2026 city intimation slip for all registered candidates in the first week of January 2026. Via the city intimation slip, candidates will be notified about the city where the NTA will allot the exam centre to the candidate. The exam centre address, time and date of the exam will be allotted via the JEE Main 2026 admit card, which is expected 3 - 4 days before the exam date.
JEE Main 2026 session 1 exam will be held between January 21 and 30. The exact exam dates will soon be announced by NTA on the official website.
