There is a way students can bypass the 75% criteria for admission to IIIT Hyderabad for its BTech+MS dual degree programme. The institute conducts its own entrance test, UGEE exam for admission to the dual degree.Β 

As per UGEE eligibility criteria, candidates only need to pass class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. There is no minimum 75% aggregate rule for UGEE, unlike the regular JEE Main admission process. Students are selected based on the UGEE exam and interview rounds.
